Boneless pork loin cut into pieces and sautéed with oil, garlic, oregano, basil, and lemon and served with sautéed broccoli and over spaghetti.
In this version of the recipe we are using broccoli, lemon, and herbs to create a wonderful and tasty lemon herb pork dish. This series of recipes will feature pork cooked with different types of herbs, sauces, or vegetables. What will change the most in these recipes are the complimentary ingredients. For instance, in the second version of this recipe, butter and white wine are the main complimentary ingredients.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops cut into bit size pieces
- 1 lb. spaghetti
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 tsp. salt for pork
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper for pork
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 4 cloves of garlic sliced
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- Juice of one lemon 1/4 cup
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Pinch salt for broccoli
- Pinch black pepper for broccoli
Instructions
Cooking the spaghetti:
- Follow the package instructions to cook the spaghetti al dente (7-9 minutes). Strain pasta and place in a large bowl1 lb. spaghetti
Preparing the pork:
- While the spaghetti is cooking, in a large skillet add the canola oil and bring to a high heat.1/4 cup canola oil
- Next, add the pork and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and basil. Sauté the pork on all sides until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes total.4 boneless pork chops, 1/2 tsp. salt for pork, 1/4 tsp. black pepper, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. onion powder, 1/4 tsp. dried oregano, 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- Finally, add the lemon juice and sauté for 2-3 minutes, mixing occasionally.Juice of one lemon
Preparing the broccoli:
- While the spaghetti is cooking, in a clean skillet bring 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to high heat.2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Add the sliced garlic and saute until golden, about 1-2 minutes.4 cloves of garlic
- Add the broccoli florets and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Lower to medium heat and sauté until broccoli is tender, about 5-7 minutes, mixing occasionally.2 cups broccoli florets, Pinch salt, Pinch black pepper
To Serve:
- Place the spaghetti in the center of a bowl and spoon the lemon herb pork with broccoli over the pasta

Boneless pork chops cut into pieces and sautéed in a lemon butter white wine sauce and paired with brown rice and peas.
In this version, Quick and Easy Lemon Herb Pork, we are using lemon butter white wine sauce to change up this dish. This recipe is a subtle change, as the first version of this recipe calls for broccoli and spaghetti. However, a small change like this really does make a completely different dish and eating experience.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops cut into bit size pieces
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- Juice of one lemon 1/4 cup
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 2 oz. white wine
- Flour for dredging about ½ cup
Instructions
Preparing pork:
- In a large mixing bowl add the flour. Next, dredge each piece of pork in the flour to coat and then set aside for cooking. Repeat this process until all of the pork is coated in flour.Flour for dredging

- Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside to drain the oil. Repeat this process until all of the pork is browned.
- Pour out any of the remaining oil from the skillet, then return the skillet to medium heat.
Bringing It All Together

- 2 cloves garlic sliced
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. ground black pepper

- Juice of one lemon or 1/4 cup lemon juice
Instructions
Preparing the Pork:
- In a large skillet on medium heat add the butter and melt. Raise to high heat and add the pork, salt, and ground black pepper.
- Sauté the pork on all sides until golden brown, about 7 minutes.
Bringing the Recipe Together:
- Continuing on high heat, add in the garlic, tomatoes, basil, and oregano. Sauté for 5 minutes, mixing occasionally.
- Finally, add in the lemon juice and sauté for 3 minutes, mixing occasionally.
