Simple Pork with Baked Beans and Rice

Simple Pork with baked beans and rice. A quick and easy meal featuring leftovers. I like to cook boneless pork chops, so I always seem to have some leftover and needing a dish to call home.

This week I had leftover boneless pork chops and also some brown rice. For a quick meal tonight, I sliced up the leftover pork and added in a can of baked beans and brown rice.

The pork with baked beans and rice recipe below details how to make the dish from uncooked pork and rice to completion. If you already have those items cooked and leftover from the night before follow theses steps:

Start by slicing up the pork and adding it to a skillet. On high heat cook the pork for a few minuted to heat it up and give it some texture.

Next, add in the cooked brown rice and can of baked beans (your choice on the brand) and cook on medium heat for a few minutes until everything is nice and hot.

This is not the most visually appealing pork with baked beans and rice dish… But it sure is tasty and filling! And did I mention quick! Especially if the brown rice is already prepared from the night before.

Invent Your Recipe:

Leftovers…some people love them, and some people do not. I personally love them! It is so interesting creating a completely new dish out of ingredients from a few other leftover meals.

For this pork with beans and rice dish you can use leftover chicken or maybe some black beans and chili sauce instead of the pork and baked beans.

Mix it up and use the ingredients you have on hand.
