This recipe is a very subtle change, as the first version of this recipe calls for spaghetti, onions, and diced tomatoes. However, a small change like this really does make a completely different dish and eating experience.

Peppers and zucchini sauteed in garlic and oil with pasta, what a wonderful meal, and one of my favorites. I have made this recipe with broccoli, peas, Brussels sprouts, green beans, and spinach.
If you would like some more flavor, add in diced tomatoes, marinara sauce, or tomato paste. If you do, add one of those ingredients in after the vegetables have sauteed for 5 minutes and before you add the pasta in to the skillet. Saute everything for about 2 minutes, then add in the pasta and finish the dish as the recipe describes.
