Discover a healthy 30-minute dinner blueprint with this Turkey Bites with Broccoli recipe. Pan-seared turkey in a savory honey butter garlic sauce, perfect for a fast weeknight meal.
Turkey is often the under-appreciated player in the “starting lineup” of proteins.
Most people only think of it during the holidays, but as an analytical cook, I see turkey as a lean, high-protein canvas that is perfect for a fast weeknight invention.
This Turkey Bites with Broccoli recipe is a staple in my house because it hits that sweet spot of being healthy, satisfying, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Growing up in a first-generation Italian-American home, we respected ingredients that were versatile.
While we loved our traditional roasts, my modern kitchen system relies on “bites”, cutting the protein into 1-inch pieces to maximize surface area for the sauce and significantly reduce cook time.
When you combine the snap of fresh broccoli with a savory honey butter garlic glaze, you’ve invented a meal that beats kitchen overwhelm every time.
The “Starting Lineup” of Ingredients
This recipe relies on a few key aromatics and a simple, repeatable sauce blueprint:
- The Protein: 24 oz Turkey Breasts (cut into 1-inch bites).
- The Garden Star: 2 cups of fresh broccoli florets.
- The Flavor Foundation: 4 tbsp butter and 2 cloves of sliced garlic.
- The Sweetener: 2 tbsp honey to create that signature glaze.
- Seasoning: Simple salt and black pepper to let the garlic shine.

How to Make Turkey Bites with Broccoli
Preparing the Turkey:
- Begin by cutting the turkey breasts into 1 inch pieces and season the turkey pieces with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet on high heat melt the butter and saute the garlic until golden (about 2 minutes).
- Next, add in the turkey pieces and pan sear for 5 minutes, mixing occasionally. The below picture shows you what the turkey looks like before you add the honey and broccoli.

- Lower the skillet to a medium heat and add in the honey and broccoli florets and sauté for about 10 minutes, mixing occasionally, until the broccoli softens. If you prefer your broccoli on the softer side add a few minutes of cook time here.
