Tender and Juicy Barbecue Chicken without the barbecue grill. This is the second iteration of the BBQ chicken recipe. In this version I decided to pair the chicken with a side of green beans and yellow rice.
Welcome to the second recipe in our Barbecue Chicken series of recipes. In this version, Tender and Juicy Barbecue Chicken, we baking the chicken breasts with BBQ sauce and serving with a side of green beans to change up this dish. This recipe is a subtle change, as the first version of this recipe calls for chicken bites and sweet onions. However, a small change like this really does make a completely different dish and eating experience.

With all the rain of late, I decided to make some BBQ flavored chicken in the oven. I seasoned the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, than brushed with some BBQ sauce.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, and make sure to brush some more BBQ sauce on the chicken half way through. I served my barbecue chicken with yellow rice and green beans.
I served this dish with leftover yellow rice that I had from a previous meal. I prepared the yellow rice based on the package instructions. If you have experience with yellow rice and would like to share a recipe, please do so. I would love to hear about it.

Invent Your Recipe
This is the second iteration of the barbecue chicken recipe. In this version I decided to go with a side of green beans and yellow rice. I know this is not how you would think of BBQ chicken in the traditional sense, however, when the grill is not available and I am in the mood for BBQ sauce, I make dishes like this one.
I encourage you to change up the cooking method or add some complementary ingredients to this dish. Be on the look out for more barbecue chicken recipe to come.
