Invent Your Recipe:
I really believe turkey is an under appreciated recipe option. Chicken, pork, beef, and seafood seem to get all the attention. I really enjoy making turkey breasts. Essentially, any recipe where you use chicken as the main ingredient, you can substitute turkey.
With that said, in this recipe you can do the opposite, and substitute chicken breasts in for the turkey breasts. The cooking time would be reduced if the chicken breasts are smaller. Take that into consideration when you place the skillet into the oven.

You list garlic as one of the ingredients but your directions don’t tell us how to cook them or when to add the to the recipe!
Emily, Thank you for catching this oversight! This recipe uses garlic powder, not fresh garlic cloves. It calls for 1/4 tsp. of garlic powder and is used to season the turkey breasts before pan searing. Thank You for the comment!
