Sweet Fig Glazed Pork Chops. Boneless pork chops cooked in a sweet fig glaze and served with roasted potatoes and onions.
I was gifted some fig jam by a friend and decided to try an use it in a recipe. I was thinking about what to make and decided the flavors would probably go well with pork chops.
This dish came together very easily. First pan sear some seasoned pork chops, then add in the fig jam and vegetable stock to make the glaze. I paired the pork chops with some roasted potatoes and onions.

If you do not have jam or preservers on hand and would like to make a sweet glaze for the pork chops you can reduce some orange juice in a sauce pan or try melting butter with some honey. Both options will give you a sweet glaze to sauté the pork chops in.
I used pork for this sweet fig glazed pork recipe, however, this glaze would work well on chicken, turkey, and shrimp.
