Ingredients
2lb.ground turkey
4clovesgarlicminced
3eggs
½tsp.oregano
1cupbread crumbs
¼cupRomano cheese
½tsp.salt
¼tsp.black pepper
8oz.marinara sauce
Instructions
Preparing the Turkey:
In a large mixing bowl combine the ground turkey, garlic, eggs, oregano, breadcrumbs, Romano cheese, salt, and pepper.
2 lb. ground turkey, 4 cloves garlic, 3 eggs, ½ tsp. oregano, ¼ cup Romano cheese, ½ tsp. salt, ¼ tsp. black pepper, 1 cup bread crumbs
Mix all the ingredients well. On a baking sheet form the turkey into a loaf, or place in a loaf pan.
Next, spoon the marinara sauce over the turkey meatloaf to cover.

Cooking the Turkey:
Place the backing sheet or loaf pan into the oven and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until the turkey has an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
To Serve:
Serve with a side of pasta.

Invent Your Recipe:In our first meatloaf recipe we choose ground turkey. This is the healthier option compared to traditional ground beef meatloaf. This is a great alternative to mix up this classic dish. This recipe can work well with ground beef, pork, or chicken. Try each one and let us know which one you prefer. Mine is ground beef...can't beat the classic.You will notice I am using marinara sauce instead of turkey gravy or brown gravy. I prefer the tomato sauce, but if that is not for you, use the gravy of your choosing.
