6medium red bliss potatoes cut into 1" pieces
1/4cupcanola oil
1tsp.salt
1/2tsp.black pepper
1/2tsporegano
Instructions
Preparing the Potatoes:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. On a baking sheet combine all ingredients, ensuring to mix well to coat the potatoes with the olive oil.
Ensure the potatoes are spread evenly on the baking sheet.
Place in the oven and bake for 50 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown.
To Serve:
Serve as a side dish with meat, or jazz up breakfast and serve with eggs and bacon.
Notes
Invent Your Recipe:I tend to go lite with the seasoning with these potatoes. I enjoy the taste of potatoes and prefer to let them shine on their own. I add a touch of oregano to these potatoes, but feel free to leave this herb out if you are not a fan.Likewise, if you enjoy a lot of flavor, add some garlic, scallions, or rosemary.
