Follow instructions on package to cook the lasagna noodles. Be sure to stir occasionally to prevent the lasagna noodles from sticking together.
12 lasagna noodles
Strain pasta and rinse with cold water. Place noodles on parchment paper for easy assembly of the lasagna roll ups.
Preparing the ground Beef:
While the lasagna noodles are cooking. In a large skillet on high heat add the ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
1/2 lb. of 80/20 ground beef, ½ tsp salt for ground beef, ¼ tsp black pepper for ground beef, ½ tsp garlic powder for ground beef
Cook until ground beef is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove ground beef to a bowl to cool.
Preparing the Cheese mixture:
In a large bowl combine the Ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and grated Romano cheese. Reserve 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese and ¼ cup of grated cheese for the top of the lasagna.

Building the Lasagna Roll Ups:
In the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan or aluminum lasagna pan add 1 cup of marinara sauce and spread evenly.

Next, on a flat surface lay out the 12 cooked noddle's and place 2 tablespoons of cheese mixture and 1 tbsp. of ground beef at one end of each noodle. Roll each noodle so that the cheese mixture is completely encased.
Place the 12 roll ups into the backing pan. Next, evenly spread the remaining marinara sauce over the roll ups and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese.
Place the lasagna roll ups into a 350 degree oven and cook for 30-35 minutes until the roll ups are heated throughout.
