Ingredients
2lbs.pork stew meat
24oz.marinara sauce
4clovesof garlic sliced
4carrots cut into bite-size pieces
4red bliss potatoes cut into bite-size pieces
1large onion sliced
½tsp.Salt
½tsp.oregano
¼tsp.black pepper
Instructions
Preparing the Stew:
In a large pot on high heat add in the stew meat, salt, and pepper and sauté for 2 minutes, mixing occasionally.
Next, add in the garlic and onion and sauté for 2 minutes, mixing occasionally.
Next, add in the potatoes, and carrots and sauté for 2 minutes, mixing occasionally.
Finally, add in the marinara sauce and oregano and bring to a simmer. Lower to a medium-low heat and simmer for 40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
To Serve:
Place the stew in a large bowl and serve family style with crunchy Italian bread.
