Notes
Invent Your Recipe:Shrimp scampi is so simple and a great tasting dish. This garlic butter sauce will pair well will just about anything. Try it with chicken, pork, steak, or salmon. If you decide to make this scampi with pasta, I would double the sauce recipe and use the garlic butter sauce on the pasta as well. The first version of this recipe uses white wine as a main ingredient. In this version of the dish I left the white wine out. You can notice the difference without the wine, the taste is still wonderful, just less amazing. If you do decide to add in the white wine it will be 1 cup. Add the wine to the sauce after the butter has melted and then bring to a simmer. Continue on with the recipe from there.
