How to Make Pork Bites With Broccoli And Red Sauce
Preparing the Pork:
- Cut boneless pork chops into strips and seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
- In a large skillet on high heat add the canola oil and pork and sauté the pork on all sides until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes total. Remove the pork from the skillet and drain the oil.
Preparing the Broccoli:
- Return the skillet to medium heat and add in extra virgin olive oil.
- Next, add in the garlic and sauté until golden, about 1-2 minutes, mixing occasionally.
- Next, add in the broccoli and sauté until tender, about 3 to 5 minutes, while mixing occasionally.
Bringing it all Together:
- Return the pork to the skillet with the broccoli and add the marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, mixing occasionally.

- 2 cups broccoli florets

- 1/2 tsp. salt

I always have marinara sauce on hand so I tend to use it in a lot of dishes. You can easily leave the marinara sauce out of this recipe, or change it up and use a lemon butter sauce.
I would recommend butter and lemon juice for the base and add those ingredients into the recipe at the same step you would have used the marinara sauce.
I picked broccoli as the vegetable in this dish. However, pick what you like. I would recommend asparagus, green beans, zucchini, eggplant, spinach, Swiss chard, escarole, or broccoli rabe as alternatives.
