No Grill Country Ribs Recipe with Homemade Sauce. Roasted country ribs topped with homemade BBQ sauce and served with fried potatoes.
This recipe was intended to be grilled. But when I went to start the grill I was out of propane. No time to run to the big box store so I changed the cooking method to the oven, and invented a new version of this recipe.
After marinating the ribs in the homemade BBQ sauce I roasted them in the oven.
I still used the homemade BBQ sauce on the ribs. However, instead of brushing the remaining sauce on while grilling, I let the ribs roast in the oven for 10 minutes, flipped them over, and coated the other side of the ribs with the remaining sauce.
The barbecue sauce was made with ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. It only takes about 5 minutes to make the BBQ sauce and the flavors are amazing.

Invent Your Recipe:
Experiment and have fun with the amount of each ingredient you use for the BBQ sauce. Want the sauce less sweet, cut back on the brown sugar. Want to kick the sauce up a notch? Add some chili powder or hot sauce.
Remember, for a tender rib, marinade the ribs longer than 1 hour; overnight for the best results.
The homemade BBQ sauce will also work well for BBQ chicken, grilled pork chops, or pulled pork.
