Welcome to the fourth recipe in our Barbecue Chicken series of recipes. In this version, Chicken Tenderloins with BBQ Sauce, we are pan searing chicken tenders and adding in BBQ sauce to change up this dish. With the chicken tenders pan seared this recipe offers a whole new eating experience.

Chicken Tenderloins with BBQ sauce

This version of the recipe is the quickest and easiest so far. Just 15 minutes to prepare and the chicken is super tender and delicious. Just 3 simple ingredients and you have a wonderful meal or appetizer.

How to Make Chicken Tenderloins with BBQ Sauce

Preparing the Chicken:

  • In a large skillet add the canola oil and bring to a high heat. Next, add the chicken tenderloins and fry until golden in color, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Next, add the BBQ sauce and sauté for 2 minutes. Flip the chicken over and sauté for 2 more minutes.

How to Serve Chicken Tenderloins with BBQ Sauce

  • Place chicken tenderloins with BBQ sauce on a bed of brown rice and serve alongside steamed broccoli or your favorite vegetable.

  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp. canola oil

This is the 4th version of this recipe. This one might be the quickest and easiest. Just 15 minutes to prepare and the chicken is super tender and delicious. Just 3 simple ingredients and you have a wonderful meal or appetizer.
You can use this recipe with any cut of chicken. I have used chicken breasts, chicken thighs, chicken legs, and the whole chicken itself. Of course, if you choose the chicken with the bone in, you will need to adjust the cooking time accordingly. Just make sure you research the appropriate internal temperature of the chicken and add the BBQ sauce to the chicken a few minutes before the chicken will be finished.
I have used this quick recipe with boneless pork loin, pork tenderloin, and beef cubes cut from London broil, sirloin steak, or chuck steak. When choosing a cut of beef it is your preference is you want the leaner cut, London broil, or a fattier cut, the chuck steak.
