Cut boneless pork chops into strips and seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
In a large skillet on high heat add the canola oil and pork and saute the pork on all sides until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes total). Remove the pork from the skillet and drain the oil.
Preparing the broccoli:
Return the skillet to medium heat and add in extra virgin olive oil. Next, add in the garlic and sauté until golden, about 1-2 minutes, mixing occasionally.
Next, add in the broccoli and saute until tender, about 3 to 5 minutes, while mixing occasionally.
Bringing it all Together:
Return the pork to the skillet with the broccoli and add the marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, mixing occasionally.
To Serve:
Serve the pork bites and broccoli over your favorite pasta or with a side of roasted potatoes.
Notes
Invent Your Recipe:I always have marinara sauce on hand so I tend to use it in a lot of dishes. You can easily leave the marinara sauce out of this recipe, or change it up and use a white sauce. I would recommend butter and white wine for the base and add those ingredients into the recipe at the same step you would have used the marinara sauce.
