In a large mixing bowl add the ground beef, eggs, grated cheese, bread crumbs, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Next, form palm size patties with the mixture (about 3 oz. a patty).
In a large oven safe skillet on high heat cook the patties on both sides until brown (about 2 minutes a side, 4 total minutes).
Next, drain the grease from the skillet and then add the marinara sauce to the skillet. Place the skillet into the oven and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, add a pinch of mozzarella cheese to each patty and place the skillet back into the oven. Bake until the cheese is melted and begins to golden, about 10 minutes.
